EXPERIERENCE and TRAINING

I specialize in counseling children, adolescents and adults, with services for: Life transitions, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, grief & loss, depression, anxiety, body image, stress, family conflict, self esteem, helplessness, and anger. I have experience working in PTSD & Grief groups. I've worked with inmates at the South Boise Women's Correctional Facility, focusing on grief, stress management and PTSD. I've traveled to Elementary schools incorporating art therapy with drug prevention. I've been trained in Expressive Art therapy, which I have found to be a wonderful tool used in self discovery. I've worked with children, adolescents and adults, nurturing self awareness.

I have a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Northern Arizona University. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Oregon Counseling Association and am a Nationally Certified Counselor.

My philosophy is that it is not the experience that shapes us, but how you view the experience.
